Under the hood

No black box — here's how it reads you

The same deterministic checks an ATS runs, with every point accounted for.

What is an ATS check?

Most companies run every application through an Applicant Tracking System before a recruiter reads it. The ATS parses your resume into text, matches it against the job description's keywords, and filters out weak matches. If your resume doesn't parse cleanly or misses required keywords, it can be rejected without ever being seen.

How your score is computed

Keyword coverage against the job description is 80 of the 100 points — a keyword counts wherever it appears, in your skills list or in a bullet, and only costs you when it shows up nowhere in the resume. Resume length and standard sections add the remaining 20, and formatting problems an ATS trips on — missing section headers, image-only text, inconsistent dates — subtract up to 30 points. Same inputs, same score, every time.

Is it really free?

Yes — the ATS check is free, unlimited, and doesn't need an account. Your resume is scored in memory and never stored. A free Dopplio account adds the AI layer on top: recruiter-style strength and weakness analysis, semantic keyword matching, one-click resume tailoring, and cover letters.
